Singapore Wholesale Fruit Market Update – Week 32, 2026

The Singapore fresh fruit market remained mixed in Week 32, with plentiful supply in some categories but tighter availability in selected grapes and melons.

Blueberries Remain Well Supplied
Blueberry supply continues to be abundant, especially fruit arriving from Peru by sea shipment and from Zimbabwe.
Peru Sekoya Pop 20mm blueberries eased in price this week, while Zimbabwe fruit also remained readily available. With good supply across the market, blueberries continue to offer buyers a wide range of options across different sizes and pack formats.
Grape Supply Is Mixed
The grape market is currently more uneven.
Black grape availability remains limited, while pre-packed 10 x 500g grape formats are also relatively tight.
At the same time, more U.S. grapes are entering the Singapore market, with pricing generally competitive compared with the same period last year. This is providing buyers with more alternatives despite the tighter supply in selected varieties and pack formats.
China Shine Muscat prices have also firmed this week after the market stabilised. Availability and pricing can still vary depending on grade, brand and specification.
Lemon Supply Stabilises, but Quality Requires Attention
Lemon supply has started to stabilise after several weeks of heavy market pressure.
Prices, however, continue to fluctuate.
Some older lemon stocks in the market are also showing signs of quality deterioration. This follows a period when prices were at very low levels and some importers chose to hold their stocks rather than release them into the market.
Buyers should therefore continue to pay close attention to fruit condition and freshness, rather than focusing on price alone.
Hami Melon Supply Tightens
China Hami melon is one of the tighter categories this week.
Malaysia is currently in its low melon season, resulting in reduced Malaysian supply and encouraging more buyers to look toward China Hami melon as an alternative.
However, China Hami melon supply has also become limited.
Market reports indicate that typhoon-related restrictions at ports in different parts of China, together with labour constraints at some ports, have affected normal movement and availability.
This has created a supply crunch at a time when demand for alternative melon supply has increased.
More Stonefruit Entering the Market
Stonefruit availability continues to expand.
More Chinese stonefruit is entering the market, while U.S. stonefruit supply is also increasing.
This week's wholesale market saw a wider selection of U.S. peaches, plums and cherries, giving buyers more choices as the summer stonefruit programme develops.
The broader supply should continue to create opportunities across different varieties, specifications and price points.
Week 32 Market Outlook
Overall, Week 32 is characterised by abundant blueberry supply, increasing U.S. grape and stonefruit availability, and tighter conditions in selected black grapes, pre-packed grape formats and China Hami melon.
Lemon supply has stabilised, although price volatility and the condition of older stocks remain areas to watch.
For the coming week, buyers should pay particular attention to China melon arrivals, grape availability and the condition of lemon stocks, while continuing to take advantage of the wider selection in berries and summer stonefruit.
