Singapore’s fresh fruit market remained slow in Week 33, with buyers continuing to take a cautious approach and overall trading activity showing limited improvement.
Supply remains comfortable across several key categories, particularly blueberries and lemons, while selected imported fruits recorded small week-on-week price adjustments.

Blueberries Remain Abundant
Blueberry supply continues to be plentiful in the Singapore market.
With good availability still present, the category remains competitive and buyers have a wide selection of fruit available. The current market continues to favour careful buying and stock management rather than aggressive purchasing.
For retailers, foodservice operators and fruit distributors, blueberries remain an important category to watch while supply stays abundant.
Lemon Supply Still Heavy
Lemons are also still abundant in the market.
Interestingly, despite the plentiful supply observed on the ground, some comparable wholesale lemon quotations showed firmer pricing compared with the previous week.
This highlights an important point in the fresh produce trade: physical market availability and quoted import prices do not always move in the same direction. Origin, specification, arrival timing and individual stock positions can all influence weekly quotations.
U.S. Grapes and Stonefruit Generally Softer
Several comparable U.S. grape and stonefruit lines were either stable or slightly lower in Week 33.
Across the strict like-for-like products compared between Week 32 and Week 33:
10 SKUs recorded lower prices
3 SKUs were maintained
2 SKUs increased
This suggests that the broader wholesale market remains relatively soft, with sellers adjusting selectively rather than making major price changes.
Australian Citrus Prices Ease
One of the more noticeable movements this week came from Australian Washington Navel oranges.
The 64-count line recorded the largest decline among the strict comparable products, falling by approximately 4.1% week on week.
The movement remains relatively moderate, but it reflects the generally softer tone seen across several fruit categories.
Avocado Prices Show Some Firmness
Australian EvoHass avocado was one of the few areas showing a clearer increase.
Comparable 28-count and 30-count lines were both approximately 2.8% higher than the previous week.
While the increase is not large, it stands out in a week where most directly comparable fruit lines were either maintained or lower.
What This Means for Buyers
The overall Singapore fruit market remains supply-driven and cautious.
Abundant blueberry and lemon availability continues to give buyers options, while small price reductions across selected grapes, stonefruit and citrus indicate that sellers are still responding to a relatively slow market.
At the same time, the firmer avocado quotations show that individual categories can move differently depending on origin, supply and specification.
For buyers, the current environment continues to favour close monitoring of individual SKUs rather than relying on broad market direction alone.
At 3YY Fresh, we continue to monitor wholesale movements, retail pricing and market availability each week to help our customers make better-informed purchasing decisions.
